Clipping from the Ingersoll Chronicle and County of Oxford Intelligencer, October 21, 1864.

To the Coward!

If the unmitigated scoundrel and coward who wrote, on Tuesday last, an insulting letter to a young lady residing in Ingersoll, will make himself known to her brother, the double-dyed villain and poltroon will be publicly cow-hided through the streets of Ingersoll.

The brother hereby charges the writer of the letter referred to with being a coward, a blackguard, a thing unfit to live, and dares him to make himself known.
