They crack friendly jokes about each other pretty often. Liam gets upset with him for a while after the whole fiasco with Fionna and Cake though. Another thing Scarab will never admit, is that Orbo is sort of his friend too. One of the few cosmic beings that saw that bug man and went “You’re not that bad, you’re just super high strung. Gotta chill a bit there buddy.” HC that Orbo knew Scarab when he first got selected to become a Cosmic Being in bug world au. Showed him the ropes on what to do and not to do as a Cosmic Being. Its why Scarab doesn’t get too irritated when Orbo calls him Scrabby. Helps that him and Cosmic Owl pretty much vouched for Liam’s return of memories to The Boss and conspired ways to help them restore them (aka giving Bug World Finn and Jake dream premonitions and finally a device Orbo created that warps them into Liam’s dimension) before they even got that permission from The Boss.

Despite everything that went on with The Boss’s orders with Liam’s memories being sealed when they became a cosmic being. Liam and Orbo get along pretty well! To the point to where they eventually become friends. (More in the ALT)
