Ottawa River MUP Report:
-Only TWO path crossing patches of snow between New Orchard and Churchill. A couple smaller piles. Wouldn't be surprised if it's all clear by tomorrow.
-Beyond Churchill looked covered in the treed area but it had that melting look to it.
-So Many Robins

-Mostly clear but with patches of snow and ice of various sizes from the New Orchard to Churchill underpasses.
-After Churchill, where the pathway goes into a more forested area, it looked all snow covered, but I didn't go that far.

Last time I passed through here in early May, the path under the bridge at St. Patrick was closed and IIRC there was a staging/work area between the path and Vanier Parkway.

Update: Rideau River MUP/Saint Patrick bridge. On my walk this morning i saw that the path from Coupal/N River is completed fenced off to under the bridge and to the other side. There is a new path detour that connects to the VP sidewalk. The area is a shitshow. #ottwalk #ottbike #ottrun

Ran home from dentist appointment this morning. Took the Aviation MUP to Truro cutoff. Mostly clear with patchy snow in places. No flooding. Yet. #ottwalk #ottbike #ottrun
As of this afternoon there is some flooding on the Rideau River MUP under the Saint Patrick bridge. I can't remember who was asking about this. Take care. #ottbike #ottrun #ottwalk

-I went west from New Orchard at lunch today and the path as far as Beachconers is substantively clear.
-Still a couple spots that are iffy, but should be clear in time for a weekend bike ride for ice cream.

-Conditions are much better! Some iffy spots if on a standard bike, especially near LRT construction, but most areas with snow have clear paths if you zig zag.
-Down hill to the beach underpass remains terrifying.
