It should be malpractice to have a "painted bike lane" narrower than the "bike lane" stencil. Vancouver has a few of these. 😒

Well so is paint but relies on drivers to abide the paint/plastic & drive safely. Unfortunately too many don't so as useful as a chocolate teapot. #PaintIsNotInfrastructure #PaintIsNotProtectiveInfrastructure

But why won’t the cyclists just use the #bikelane that we paid £3.50 to make?
If you can park in it then it’s not a bike lane #paintisnotinfrastructure
If a driver has to cross the lane markings to pass you then you’re already slowing traffic. Just park legally.
