The City of Portland is 145 square miles. The ICE facility the National Guard are deployed to protect takes up less than a city block.
Last night at the ICE HQ, they arrested two people, one of whom was 17, for low level assault charges. Hardly a war zone.

My daughter graduated from Grant and OSU. She’s lived in Corvallis, DC, Atlanta, Milan, rural PA, upstate NY, and Brooklyn since graduating in 2010. She’s chosen to return to Portland and make this her home.
