Unsurprisingly, that’s the best darn beam rifle I’ve ever built.

Felt like putting together a real firearm compared to the relatively basic designs I’ve experienced so far.

Anyway, that was really fun! Looking forward to seeing what the shield is like next.

Got the torso and backpack done last night.

I remembered to remove the boosters and masked all the clear light channel bits beforehand, but I still had to go back and respray a couple things due to some clearances and overhangs I missed.

Arms & head up next!

Waist done! The weight and mass of this kit is crazy. 285 g (10.1 oz) so far, and there’s still so much to do.

Really loving the way it’s coming together and hoping to finish the rest of the main assembly in the next day or two.

Right leg complete. Feeling a lot better today now that I see where all the metallic reflective decals go, so my panel line concerns from last night are pretty moot.
