El #Phalacrocorax, Cormorà gros o Corb marí és un au observable de setembre a abril a les zones humides de tot el món (ara mateixa poden vore's als aiguamolls de Cullera).

Is this how cormorants displaying to others? Seems so. Did not expect to see a pair of Little Black Cormorants (Phalacrocorax sulcirostris) doing what looked like a mating display.

One of my favourite close up of the Little Black Cormorant. That greenish-blue eye is just so gorgeous, amazing contrast to the predominantly black cormorant.

I always wanted to take photo of cormorants for ages. Sure, this is just a Little Black Cormorant (Phalacrocorax sulcirostris) and not the fabulous Red-Legged Cormorant, but for now it's good enough for me.

During breeding season, adults also develop white patches on their thighs. These birds are known for holding their wings out to dry after dives.
