I’m getting closer each week to a fully finished coat. I may add embroidery on the lapel and bottom before I insert the lining into it.
I can finally see the final product coming to life.

We broke out the embroidery thread for this one. I wanted a little crafty touch. 6 hours of hand stitching later, we have functional (even/level) pockets.

From muslin to wool! The Phoebe coat’s biggest difficulty so far is cutting all the pieces and ‘surprise interface’ or fabric tape. Happy with how this is coming along though as it progresses!
