From Nov 11, 2018. Notes say I used a frozen shell, some apples from the local orchard, and mixed the topping during the first part of the bake. Pie really can be easy and quick.

My great-grandma Shorty’s chess pie recipe baked in her pot pie tins. She used to bake a hundred of these for church events and bake sales in Cooloomee, NC.
