Oh my god my patchwork jeans are done and I adore them ! I reworked the back waist tab - removed the belt loop, used the correct slide adjuster buckle, made it cinch in a lil more. It feels so nice. Find joy where you can even if it’s a silly outfit plz #sewsky #adamspant #pineraglan

This picture is side profile and closer up from her chest to knees showing details of the garments. Pants details for fellow sewists: I used daughter Judy’s elastic waist hack for the coe trouser found in her substack. It worked beautifully! I shortened leg length 2”.

Sewist details: I used the paradise patterns pine raglan sweatshirt pattern to alter a tshirt I bought from monsters outside. I don’t like the way premade tshirts fit usually and I hate not being unique (lol) so I’ve gotten into modifying! To hack the sleeves I measured the sleeve length of a tshirt I like and just put a straight line across the sleeve pattern piece. Especially in the hemp cotton rib knit it makes the sleeves wing out but it’s kinda fun and amazing for airflow. Sweaty sewist problems! The neckband was delicately removed from the original tshirt and reused.

Quick win while I wait for hardware for my patchwork jeans from pacific trimmings - the new paradise patterns cropped #pineraglan in a beloved merino rib knit remnant. The beauty of projector sewing and digital adjustments: I had this pattern modified + cut out within 2hr of purchase.
