The #SanAndreasFault runs under the parking lot above Mussel Rock in #DalyCity, CA. The cracks and the uneven nature of the road are visible signs of the ground shifting here all the time. The fault goes out into the ocean and heads north toward the #PointReyesPeninsula.

During a day trip my wife and I saw a #fogbow that lasted for an hour. A fogbow occurs on a foggy but sunny day when light refracts in the droplets that make up the fog. This is not an altogether rare occasion. This was at the #PointReyesPeninsula, CA last year.

The #CrystalSpringsReservoir in San Mateo County, Califonia is part of the #SanAndreasFault that runs all the way from Southern California to Daly City where it heads out into the Pacific Ocean and towards the #PointReyesPeninsula. This is a view toward north and San Francisco.

#Porcini at the local market! I wish there were more opportunities for #foraging for #mushrooms in the Bay Area. We only have two areas where foraging is legal, as far as I know on the #PointReyesPeninsula and at #SaltPointStatePark.
