Just added a first-pass ability to visualize any categorical or continuous participant data as map layers in the #PolisLike Perspective Map Explorer! You can use a wizard UI that exports basic stuff, or your own processed data (e.g., from typeform)

Really need to look into Semble-PDS as I want to query my posts too. Took to long to find #polislike stuff I wanted to look into. It's not that I want to hand it over to some ML magic, just be able to retreive it quickly ... from the PDS.

Also, while I'm at it @instantiator.bsky.social, are you actively working on #PolisLike research or processes at @nestauk.bsky.social? By pol.is -like, I mostly mean tools/processes that thoughtfully use dimensional reduction (beyond just voting) in #democracy -aligned participation or sense-making
Basically, #PolisLike democracy tools need the equivalent of DevRel, "developer relations" for the social and tech infra of democracy, and I see very little leadership amongst pol.is stewards toward that end, tho @sitrafund.bsky.social & Code for NL / polispilot.nl are trying to remedy this <3
Beliefs map really interestingly onto movement around physical space bc our brains repurposed the grid cell system for spatial nav to map abstract concepts. Ppl can see divides & alignments better when moving thru space. And a #PolisLike tool could simply create a persisting explorable artifact
These algos and UIs are for communicating insights of consensus-building and bridging algorithms to a broad citizen base. Thinking these shared APIs (at algo and UI level) will allow more collab and exploration of user interfaces amongst many developing #PolisLike projects. #civictech #plurality
