A wicker basket filled with 30 knitted toy mice, all placed so their noses are up, looking at the viewer. The mice are multicoloured, some using variegated yarn, some with different patches of yarn knitted together.
This is donation project, it will be going to the toy box of a group Ibelong to, to be given out to kids. The mice are safe for kids 3+ yrs old.
The wicker basket is sitting on a table covered with a red tablecloth. A white piece of fabric is bottom right, which will cover the basket.
A photo of my non-studio craft storage table, where I’m supposed to keep markers, glue, and anything that is craft related that isn’t in my studio. There is a dollhouse on top, surrounded by bottles, boxes, paints, glue, and boxes in front of the 8 storage cubbies under the table. It is a mess, but I have anything I might need!
A photograph of a piece of an embroidery project that will become a 1600s embroidered women’s jacket, embroidered in black monochrome flowers with intricate fill patterns, and some gold embroidery.
A photo of a 14th century style woman’s heraldic dress, in black and yellow linen, quartered so that the front and back are black on one side and yellow on the other.
The yellow side of the dress is stenciled with black curly stars (called etoiles), done in black fabric paint. The dress is old, but I repainted all the stars this past week.
