This statue is an average woman, quite literally. No matter what women and girls do, they’re always the target of abuse, molestation and even death. Femicides are all time high now in my country. From mothers to family members to daughters to ex wives to girlfriends to friends to children. In October 2024, there was a horrible femicide happened in my country. 2 girls, were brutally killed by their psychotic ex boyfriend. There are more incidents like this and this incident is a reminder of how dangerous people really are and this statue is a symbol of governments failures of protecting women and girls. They always say women are flowers but they rip them off.
