他從義大利帶來了一種在火上烘乾的麵糊食譜 將其製作成蛋糕並大受好評 就以自己的名字命名 後來的人把它稱作「Popelin」或「Poupelin」 這就是泡芙的起源
再經由法國人的改良發展 才讓泡芙這一樣食物舉世聞名
