Shirt cuff illustrations from 1959. I shall revive at least two of these styles when I have a moment. #protomod #mod #bespoke

A shirt-jacket by Aquascutum, 1961. By the look of things it has princes seams running down the front from the shoulders. I like the way that they define the ends of the pockets. I might make my own version at some point. #aquascutum #protomod #mod

Saint Joseph, from their 1961 range. They were a French company specialising in casual knitwear. John Michael sold their stuff and it was always sharp ... and always pricey (apparently). #protomod #mod #johnmichael

A Bill Green inspired, Italian collar shirt that I made. Late 50s style, very proto-mod/progressive rock & roller! #bespoke #60sfashion #mod #protomod

Cross-front, welt pockets that I made recently. These were fashionable in Italy in the early 60s, but never really caught on. Probably because they're not that functional. They look great though! #bespoke #60sfashion #mod #protomod
