People from both sides— #MAPS & #Psymposia— managed to slow down the progress of #psychedelicMedicine, maybe for good.
I agree with @neselsd.bsky.social that, with a #Left tag on the title, it is a "transparently partisan attack on behalf of a #pharmaceuticalCompany".

#MAPS was certainly not forthcoming but neither is #psymposia #ethics. They don't have the high ground here.
I for one want full #decriminalization and not commercial selling for-profit so the #FDA is also wrong.

#psymposia more bullying - I hate bullies regardless of their alleged do-good agenda - these people sound malevolent. We need alternative therapies for trauma, and these people are fucking it up. #mdma #psychadelics
Hot off the press. Critical story of the psychedelic 'watchdogs'. #lykos #mdma #nyt #psymposia @psymposia @newyorktimes www.nytimes.com/2025/02/04/h...
Well articulated. As an organization focused on practical #ethics, I found the critiques by #psymposia not credible using the guise of ethics. There is plenty to be critical about for sure, but this a good critique of their critique - chacruna.net/unbelievable.... interested in their response.
