Mayor Mamdani just announced plans to open a city-owned grocery store in East Harlem. 🛒

It’s a powerful step toward making life more affordable for New Yorkers. Cities like St. Paul, Atlanta and Venice, IL, are experimenting with #publicgrocery stores and and we are excited for its promise.

New federal grocery rebate will cost $12.4 billion, PBO estimates | CBC News The parliamentary budget officer announced Monday that the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit will cost an estimated $12.4 billion.
