I’ve visited both the town and restaurant many times. Puerto Penasco was a small fishing village located an hour’s drive south from the Organ Pipe National Monument border crossing at Lukeville, Arizona. It is a popular vacation spot for snowbirds and for students from southern Arizona. This restaurant is not the most dynamic in town, doesn’t serve the most creative Mexican cuisine, but is a very fun and enjoyable place to frequent for their salsas, drinks, and seafood dishes. This photo I took back in December 2004. The most recent visit I had was in January 2020.
