Ontem tava tarde quando tuitei as sinapomorfias cranianas de Canidae para o #PugDay então farei novamente!
Humanos e ursos são plantígrados (na planta dos pés), cavalos e zebras ungulígrados (na unha), mas cachorro é digitígrado (dedos). #PugDay
Cães apoiam o peso do corpo todo nos dedos....esta condição é denominada digitígrada. #PugDay
Sou cachorro e adoro osso...me olho no espelho e quero me comer! #PugDay
Outra sinapomorfia de Canidae observada no crânio é o processo paraoccipital alongado. #PugDay
No cranio do #PugDay assim como em todo Canídeo existe o canal alisfenóide, o que os diferencia dos demais carnívoros!
