This is a color Photograph of a Mural found in Art Alley 5.5 in Bismarck ND. The links included more background and purpose of the work. It is a large rectangular work with a background completely painted in Hazard Orange, for Orange Shirt Day. Large bold black capital letter print, featuring one word per line, on the top left corner, reads 'EVERY CHILD MATTERS'. The bottom left corner, black capitalized text that is approximatly half of the size, has 5 words in 3 lines, which read 'WE RISE FOR OUR RELATIVES'. Bottom left corner painted in white, pink, purple, blue, yellow and black are 4 triangular shapes representing butterfly wings. The body section is left blank so adult sized people may stand in the space between the left and right set. To the right of this is a smaller set of 4 triangles symbolizing dragonfly wings, again the body section is left blank. Child sized people could fit in this space. A thin green vine growing from below the butterfly wings spreads up and out across the work diagonally. It has yellow, blue, pink, purple and red flowers on it. Each has a black and white heart bordered shape in its colour filled center. Throughout the mural there are tiny black and white butterflies and dragonflies.
