The Tadpole nebula, like many similar emission nebulas, is an oxygen-rich area surrounded by textured dust walls and bright red hydrogen emissions. It gets its name from the small bright pillars that extend out into the blue from the bottom left of the area.

A planetary nebula in the middle of the frame with a red ring around the outside, a teal center, and faint dust lines throughout.
Abell 31 is a large and dim planetary nebula in the southern sky trailing Orion. I piled up nearly 70 hours of integration time on this target with 10 minute narrowband subs.

Subject: M 17 Nebula. The background sky in the image is filled with red nebulosity marked with dark dust lines, while the nebula is a sea of textured blue.
I watched some more processing tutorials, so I gave M 17 another go. The main trick here is color masks using the ColorMask_mod script in PixInsight and masked curve adjustments.
