Bronze Winner: Gamifying Education: Good Goal App | IE University - IE School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs The Good Goal App improves sustainable habits and measures the environmental impact of individuals and organizations committed to the environment in an accessible, easy, and motivating way. The software is integrated into our first-year Bachelor classes, engaging nearly 400 students. Through this tool, students learn to identify and adopt sustainable practices to reduce their impact in key areas such as waste management, consumption, and transportation.
Silver Winner: Cross-Cultural Classroom (3C) | Tecnologico de Monterrey, International Islamic University Malaysia, Srinakharinwirot University, The University of Hong Kong Empowering Future Leaders with Sustainable Citizenship In Cross-Cultural Classroom (3C), we empowered students from four universities in different cultural contexts to experience interdisciplinary and intercultural sustainability problem-solving. Students hailed from different disciplines: Engineering, Medicine, and Arts and Humanities. During the program, students engaged in extended conversation about shared global problems, designed their own solution, and devised a ‘minimum viable product’ that had to factor in all four cultural contexts.
Gold Winner: NEOMACT Initiative | NEOMA Business School Empowering Students for Sustainability Transition NEOMACT, created in line with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), is designed to inspire and empower students to actively contribute to the Social and Environmental Transition (SET). This initiative integrates academic coursework with reflective assessments and hands-on projects, providing students with continuous opportunities to engage deeply with sustainability challenges. By embedding these experiences throughout the entire curriculum, NEOMACT ensures that every student at NEOMA graduates not only with the knowledge but also the confidence and practical skills necessary to lead transformative change in their professional and personal lives.
