My first solo quilting project using the Bountiful pattern by Busy Hands is all finished. The Doctor Who fabric was all thrifted yardage. It's busy, and evokes chaos, but I think that's a fine vibe for the Doctor.

Looking at backing fabric and binding for the watercolor quilt. This pink cotton was a Goodwill find (about 3 yards for $4.99) and the purple binding has been in my stash for years. The batting is two pieces zig-zagged together.

A square quilt design with a central spiral pattern inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, made up of rectangular sections in progressively larger sizes. Each section is filled with swirling, leafy, and floral motifs in varied colors, creating a vibrant, textured effect. The spiral starts small in one corner and expands outward, giving a dynamic sense of movement.

Baby quilt finished…thought I had pretreated all Cherrywood fabrics, but the darkest brown bled. Washed the whole thing with synthrapol and it disappeared, thank goodness. I didn’t have to name it “Bleeding Hearts” after all. 😊
