rough graphite sketch comic featuring Gray Mann and Radigan Conagher. First panel, Gray has his back turned, a veil of hair over his face, half exposed down to his mid-back - what appears to be a shirt or a robe bunched around him loosely - shoulder blades and bony spine visible. Radigan: Gettin' worse again? Gray: Mm... Radigan: Well... this'll hold it off a lil' longer. To the right of the first panel is a close up of a syringe full of something, being held delicately by Radigan's thick, stubby fingers. Radigan: 'M gonna take 'er steady, y'hear? Third panel is a close up of Radigan's face in profile, his expression is serious, but soft. Radigan: Just hang in there, darlin'... Fourth panel is a shot of Gray gasping as the syringe plunges into his spine, between the vertebrae, clutching the front of his loose shirt. His face in profile is mostly obscured by the hair falling over his eyes, but his open mouth can be seen, as well as drops of sweat rolling down from his cheek bone to his jawline. In lieu of a background, this last panel has scratchy graphite lines roughly hatching it, as well as the areas outside of each panel being filled in dark with heavy handed pencil marks.
