Early morning on a spring day, yesterday in fact, and though it is officially spring it was a cold start to the day with the car windows frosted. It was beautiful though and a lovely opportunity to get out with my new lens. I’ve actually bought it for wildlife but I can never resist photographing the landscape. Here we have a rail track arcing round the bottom right corner, it’s running through fence trees which are coming alive as their leaf buds begin to burst open. The colours are an array of orange, yellow and green. It’s only a single rail track. It serves the local villages with an hourly train from around 6am to 10pm.
