Sinners (2025)
#reviewscore : 10/10
Man
Death Note (2015 Television Drama)
#reviewscore : 4.5/10
For fans of the manga and anime like myself, its interesting to see the swerves this adaptation takes. Not because any of them are good, but because you’ll never predict what will happen next. Otherwise its pretty terrible
The Misadventures of Tron Bonne
#reviewscore : 8/10
My only complaint is that there wasn’t more dungeon levels. Otherwise that’s a delightful short little game
Frankenstein (2025)
#reviewscore : 7/10
I’m conflicted as a fan of the original book. I wouldn’t say this movie was bad but it’s very inconsistent in tone. Didn’t like the ending.
Also this version of Victor joins my list of most hated fictional characters of all time
It’s fine. Worth a watch
Resident Evil 4 (2005)
#reviewscore : 9.5/10
Just great all around. It's one of those rare games that is as good as everyone says it is. I was surprised at how dumb it could be at times but that only made things campy and fun. Like MGS3 it's something I'll come back to time and time again
Nosferatu (2024)
#reviewscore : 8.5/10
Great great, very good. I only rate it that low because it’s a movie I’m going to need to watch it again to really take it in and discover everything I missed.
Ikemen Dansou Reiya ni Koishiteru!! (manga)
#reviewscore : 6.5/10
Great start, had a good spike in drama and then rushed the ending. Makes me think it got it's chapter count reduced or something but overall it was good-ish. Dunno what it is with me finding romance stories with shoddy endings
Stephen King’s The Shining (1997)
#reviewscore : 5.5/10
Very silly series that had a few ok moments. Can’t really recommend it unless you’re super curious about the differences between this and the Kubrick version
Pseudoregalia
#reviewscore : 7.5/10
One of those pretty good games. There are things that could have been done better but I had fun with how it is now. A sequel that expands things and actually has a story would be great
Room 237 (stupid “documentary”)
#reviewscore : 1/10
This made me hate art. Almost 2 hours of people who are convinced they are intellectuals schizoposting. Only redeeming quality is I laughed at some of the absurd shit they were saying but otherwise I’m mad that this movie even exists
The Shining (1980)
#reviewscore : 9/10
For it being as iconic as it is and for all the well known scenes being absorbed through cultural osmosis, I’m surprised at how little that impacted the actual viewing experience for me. It was great seeing all those moments come together in context
Mega Man 2
#reviewscore : 7/10
Better than 1 but I think I just don't like NES Mega Man that much. I think I'm going to play Legends 2 to detox
Breakfast at the Vivarium (manga)
#reviewscore : 8.5/10
I liked that much more than I was expecting. Very interesting, nothing else I've read like it. Some of the ideas are a little muddy or get dropped, but overall still fun. One of those manga that I hope gets an official English release.
Knights of Guinevere (animation pilot)
#reviewscore : 8/10
Pretty cool start to a story and very ambitious. I'm looking forward to more episodes so I'd say that was a success. There's some writing and pacing decisions that make things a bit confusing but nothing too major
Mega Man
#reviewscore: 5/10
yup that's a bullshit game. Sure there's a lot of charm and it started the whole thing but most of the time it's not fun. I don't even feel bad having to use rewind and save states to get to the end because it would have been a waste of time to beat it "legit"

Easy Delivery Co. (game)
#reviewscore : 7/10
pretty good, I had fun getting into the groove of doing deliveries. The only thing stopping it from being better for me is no satisfying conclusions to any of the endings. Even a slideshow would have gone a LONG way to wrap things up nicely
Chocobo's Dungeon 2
#reviewscore : 7.5/10
It's a better version of the first game, had some fantastic pre-rendered cutscenes, and the story and characters were cute. I do wish some of the more obscure mechanics were explained better but otherwise pretty good
War of the Worlds (2025)
#reviewscore : 0/10
Yeah
Beowulf (2007 movie)
#reviewscore : 4/10
That is much worse than I remember it being and I didn’t even like it when I first saw it. Beyond the visuals being awkward I can see why this movie was a dud. The writing is just weird and it’s even weirder if you’ve read the poem
Casablanca (1942)
#reviewscore : 9/10
Not really much to be said beyond it’s understandable why this is a all time classic. Every scene is paced so well that it makes its hour 43 minute runtime feel like 45 minutes. Good stuff
Tron (1982)
#reviewscore: 5/10
They made a really interesting world but the story set in that world is pretty boring. The characters fall flat too besides Sark who’s cheesy enough to be memorable. It’s got its moments and I appreciate what it did when it did it, but wouldn’t say it’s good
Severance (Season 2)
#reviewscore : 9/10
Still great. I adore how with almost every episode you get a surprise reveal or something new to think about. Depending on if a season 3 expands on some kinda dull/forgotten plot points this might be the better season? Looking forward to it either way
Takopi’s Original Sin (anime)
#reviewscore : 7/10
It’s good. Has a strong start, just for me the last 3 episodes just didn’t hit in the way I wanted them to. Totally a personal preference thing there not saying the show was bad for it or anything
Go into it with caution: it’s very dark.
Severance (Season 1)
#reviewscore : 9.5/10
I have no idea what the consensus is on season 2 but even if it’s ass this first season is as nearly a perfect piece of television as possible in my eyes. I love shows that keep throwing shit you can’t possibly have predicted and if you do too, watch this
Hellsing (2001 Anime)
#reviewscore : 5/10
The soundtrack to this show is amazing the rest of it is a mess. It has some good moments here and there, but overall isn't worth watching unless you really like Hellsing
A show that feels like it's struggling to hold itself together... that OST tho 👌👌👌
Tomba (game)
#reviewscore : dropped
This is my second time trying to give this game a chance and it's just not for me.
I can appreciate some of the things it's doing, but the level design and the movement just doesn't click with me at all. Not bad, just skill issue on my part
Kirby's Dream Land (game)
#reviewscore : 7/10
That certainly is a 45 minute game! Regular game is way too easy while the hard mode you get access to at the end is annoyingly hard. It's a funny dichotomy.
It does what it does good and has aged pretty well, just wish there was more
Taking Care of God (manga)
#reviewscore : 5.5/10
With only one volume it’s got way too many concepts with no space to properly explore them. The characters REALLY suffer as it’s impossible to really care for them as the story is so focused on explaining fake geopolitics instead
Arts good though
Ape Escape (game)
#reviewscore :8.5/10
It’s hyperbole but I don’t care, I think this is one of those games everyone should play. It’s so full of ambitious and fun ideas and keeps throwing surprises at you throughout.
There’s some jank, and a few mechanics/stages suck but otherwise: great game
