SPARKYLX a Marxist Periodical WHERE TO BEGIN WHEN WE ALREADY STARTED?: REVISIONISM AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY "The fact is, the current "Communist" parties are taking the place of the Communist Party, confining our would-be comrades and funneling the masses' interest in revolution and socialism into themselves, where that interest can be liquated along bourgeois lines. Under these conditions, the worker's rise to consciousness is waylaid, and it will continue to be so until revisionism and its organizations are defeated. The current political field of "Communism," as well as the organizations within it, is the primary stage of the anti-revisionist struggle, and we cannot sidestep this fact and go off on our own as "pure" Marxists founding a "pure" party. Struggling against revisionist Marxism means struggling where revisionist Marxists are, which means struggling within the current "Marxist" political formations."
