If most of our protein and carbohydrates came from vats (I'm not giving up vegetables, chocolate or coffee π€£) enormous amounts of land could be #rewilded, with all sorts of biodiversity, carbon, and adaptation benefits.

A bright reddish mushroom erupts from a brown leafy forest floor. It has four columns tat look something like a four wire whisk. Under the top is a brown viscous liquid that smells bad and attracts flies.
