This right here is the final step 1 tumble for the petrified wood. I feel that these are the right size to continue on to step 2 as for the Beryl (Emerald) that's getting put to the side.

Woot! My new rock tumbler arrived today. I have been waiting since November for this machine. In barrel one is a mix of agates and a piece of jasper, in barrel two is a batch of snowflake obsidian #rocktumbling #rockpolishing #rocks #rockhounds

An arrangement of shiny polished rocks on a white background. The majority is regular gray quartz with varying degrees of translucency and some dark random inclusions. But there is also some bright purple amethyst, some pale barely rose quartz, and some murky smoky quartz. All look as smooth as glass.

Another quartz batch! The really gemmy smoky quartz and all but one of the amethyst were given to me, along with the super clear quartz. The rest are fossil hunting creek finds. 💜 #rocktumbling #rockpolishing #rockhounding
