Dry gras with 3 rosettes with green leaves
Rosette with green leaves with red pattern and border.
Dry gras with a brownish lichen hiding in the middle (peltegeria sp.).
#WildFlowerHour #RosetteChallenge. I have no clue what these are. Found these on the side of a seldomly used gravel turnplate while re-searching my favorite peltegeria #lichen.

A circular clump of leaves of one plant, which has not yet grown any stems. This sort of rosette of leaves is how a lot of species spend the winter.
This is either Smooth Hawksbeard or Beaked Hawksbeard. I have no idea how to tell their rosettes apart and both grew in my front yard self-sown last year so it could be either. #WildflowerHour #RosetteChallenge
