It's a warm, bright, sunny day and we're looking towards the flat back of a brick building. The building's pointed roof reaches towards the top centre of view forming an arrow of red bricks against the mostly blue sky. Dead centre in the brick wall is a simple square window with thick concrete lintel beneath and a thinner and longer concrete support above set into the brickwork. The window is split into three rows and columns of equal-sized square panes, most of them clear and with thick frames of white showing a few signs of age. The bottom left pane hosts a metal or wooden box with a hole cut in it, and the purpose for this isn't clear but may be for airflow. In the remaining two left panes there is a severed arm prop standing upright with the pale rubber hand spread out as if waving from the topmost pane. Behind, less clear and mostly filling the central pane there is a large skull apparently peering outwards and over our heads at something possibly behind us.
For #FensterFreitag a simple window scene hiding some rather odd sights. This was a building somewhere around the Rother Valley Country Park in 2013 based on timestamps and other photos, although I can't even remember taking the shot. Spooky.
