#Samaritanism is an Israelite cousin to Judaism, as it were. The Samaritan Torah is older, shorter, and tends to conserve more original traits of the common progenitor religion. One crucial difference is the importance of Mount Gerizim, which plays the same theological anchor role as Mount Zion.

Šhămerīm—Samaritans—are followers of the religion of #Samaritanism and the Tūra ( #Samaritan Torah/Pentateach—Five Books of Moses—which they call Qūshta, "[The] Truth"). They're an ancient faith community similar to, but distinct from, #Jews and #Judaism.
Today I'm going to talk about the Hebrew calendars. Yes, that's calendars, plural. Jews aren't the only Hebrews; Samaritans are also still around and they have their own traditions, including their own calendar.
