The #sarsens are looking fine today

Or just one of a number of sarsens in a 'natural' spread that a farmer finally wanted to get rid of. There are, afterall, various dotted about the area as well as ones in actual prehistoric monuments like the Tidcombe barrow.

Two large #sarsens, one carefully carved, had been used in the foundations of the tenth century church. What had they been before they were hardcore?
