One last picture from my #ScoutingHistory.
This was the trip where I saw mountains for the first time in my life. I was blown away, I knew I wanted to live close to them once I graduated high school.
I also didn't want to give up the ocean, so Vancouver seemed the perfect choice.

My school picture that year was in my Cub uniform. I'm pretty sure I'm 7 or 8 years old in this picture.

The last picture I posted was of me when I was in Beavers.

#ScoutsCanada had a huge impact on my life. I was a youth member for more than a decade. I spent another two decades as a leader, and a trainer of leaders.
It's a large part of why I moved to Vancouver from the Maritimes.

Me and one of "my Scouts" from back in the day. It's been at least 15 years since I last saw him.

I was and always will be a #Scout.
I was a Beaver, a Cub, a Scout, a Venturer. I was a #Leader and a #Trainer with #ScoutsCanada. Scouting changed the direction of my life.
It was so awesome to reconnect with one of "my Scouts" at least 15 years later.
Me and B, he's now a pilot for Jazz Air.

I was a member of #ScoutsCanada for a huge chunk of my life. 12 years as a youth member, 18 years as a Leader/Trainer.
I developed a love for knot tying, lashing, etc. I just started an eye splice on a rope, which is something I haven't done in at least 15 years.
