Traditional drawing of a pensive looking nudibranch mermaid. She is basically a human lying on her stomach with the mantle of a nudibranch draped over her back. The species is Mexichromis macropus. The border of its mantle is decorated with orange stripes. It has purple bumps on its back. The rhinophores, wich are positioned on the human's head, also have purple accents. Imagine them to sway gently in the water. Done with black fineliner and watercolour pencils.
I finally finished my nudibranch mermaid. The upper body - human, lower body -creature pattern does not work here, I think. So I came up with something different. Imagine you see a colourful seaslug and from the top nothing seems to be unusual but under the mantle hides a tiny person.

My oc Seiya as a sea slug/nudibranch, specifically a chromodoris willani. He has blue hair with white highlights, scales, and his horns are covered in bioluminescent dots. He is looking surprised while in the middle of eating a petrosia ficiformis/stony sponge. There is a second drawing of him with his back turned as he looks at a Sidereal Whale. There is a smaller nudibrance off to the left, while the right says "Back hair spikes can be like, antennae or something" with a drawing of the spikes as well as some different expressions.

A real sea slug is about an inch. He's at least 10 ft with that tail. And a cutie at that <3
