The city has said there may be some tweaks to signal timing and pavement markings on 14th Ave this year, but any major changes would take longer and require more process.

Two people killed in one crosswalk in six months? #SeattleProcess.

Some drivers inconvenienced? $500k, no process, build now.

And Seattle just spent, what, ten years? discussing whether to close Pike Place to cars. #seattleprocess

Of all the arguments against upzoning and calls to "slow down," one that really bothered a lot of us is "I wasn't told [asked/consulted/catered to]."

I guess they expected a private presentation?

Still amazed these Maple Leaf folks literally bought brooches and coordinated their outfits. I feel like that alone should disqualify their opinions because they clearly have more time and money than sense.

Had to take a quick break after David H. Appreciate the representation now from the CID asking to not water down the plan and again inequitably burden the CID.

"Just slow down. Instead of adding 30 dense units in a neighborhood center, why don't we start with just 2 or 3 and see how it goes?" Dude. It's a zoning change, not a forced destroy and rebuild plan. It will naturally be a gradual transition.

They still refuse to distribute themselves between the two mics, despite *repeated* directives from the Council. These folks embody a certain stereotype of a certain generation's self-centeredness.

Testimony AGAIN for #ADU's...can we get this done, please?

#SeattleProcess just doesn't work for issues on a #climate timeline. Why are we letting a handful of privileged people stop housing for thousands of others?

Thank you @SeattleCouncil. I know it ain't been easy!
