razorback ordered the berry blue paper memo set, a red sheet of seed paper, a green sheet of seed paper and I included a darker green sheet of seed paper from my latest collection.

Click there to share Type three angry words under a post and call it "doing your part." And while that's fine for awareness and venting to the algorithm, let us stop pretending it's effective in the long run. Because the people you are trying to hold accountable? The elected officials? The corporate executives? The ones causing or ignoring the problem in the first place? They're not reading your tweets. They're not losing sleep over a Change.org petition signed by 140,000 people who couldn't be bothered to even scroll to the bottom of the page. And you know what? They know it. They know you didn't write it. They know you didn't personalize it. They know you hit "sign" between TikTok scrolls and ordered a latte. So, let us stop giving them the satisfaction of dismissing us. Let us do the one thing they cannot ignore. Let us send mail. Yes. Actual, physical mail. Paper. Pen. Postage. Rage. Because here's the truth: Email is easy to ignore. Phone calls go to voicemail. Online petitions? They may as well be horoscopes. We've hit peak digital saturation. The system's immune to it. The government has learned to tune out your digital anger. Corporations have an entire department dedicated to dragging and dropping your online complaint straight into the bin. But a mountain of letters delivered by Canada Post? That's a health and safety hazard. That's evidence. That's weight — literal and metaphorical. And yes, it costs money and time. That's the whole point. When you send a physical letter, you're saying: "I care enough to get up, print this off, address it by hand, buy a stamp, and walk it to the mailbox." You are showing effort. You're proving conviction. Even if you copy and paste someone else's words — you're still doing more than 99% of people. And they'll know it. Because now your anger has a return …

So, here's what you do: 1. Write a letter. Angry? Great. Polite and to the point? Even better. Doesn't matter. Just make it yours. 2. Print it. Handwrite it. Scribble it in Sharpie. Doesn't matter. 3. Address it. Buy the stamp. Mail it. 4. Do it again. Encourage others. Start a letter-writing group. 5. Let them drown in our disappointment. Literally. We're done with hollow digital activism. We are done being dismissed as passive clickers. Let us turn our silence into stacks. Let us take up space. Put. It. In. Writing. Because the system won't care until they're buried in proof that we do. Do not Just Send a Letter - Send a Message. Responsibly. Yes, we're asking you to use paper. And yes, we are painfully aware of the irony — demanding change while chopping down trees. But here is the thing: you do not have to destroy the planet to destroy someone's excuses. Start by sourcing your paper from small businesses that are actually trying to fix the damage — not add to it. Look for recycled paper or even better, seed paper — the kind that turns into wildflowers instead of landfill guilt. That is right. Your protest could literally bloom. Support local print shops, Indigenous-owned businesses, eco-focused stationers, and community paper-makers. Avoid the big-box garbage that wraps itself in greenwashing while shipping paper halfway across the world in plastic sleeves. Even in your resistance, you have power. Use it wisely. Because when they finally bend over to pick up your letter from the flood on their office floor, maybe — just maybe — they'll notice it's printed on a page that says, "I'm not just angry, I'm accountable." Environmental justice and social justice go hand in hand. Raise your voice. But plant your values.
