Digging through my archives I was pleased to find this interview with #SeethingWells - the 'spiky poet' it says here - from LOP 169 in May 1981. Interview by Don Dare. Nice photos too.

Scraping off soil to the underlying rock is a method of restoring chalk grassland, so it's no surprise that plants have regenerated at #Seethingwells with 100m of Small and Field scabious (also bedstraws, St. John's Wort) even an Osier bed appearing, but look quick

Its worth getting up early to see the lapwings that have been on the FB's at #Seethingwells for a few weeks now and definitely behaving as a pair. You need binoculars to see them. Please submit any records to @surbitonbirds
Nice to see a pair of shovelers visiting FB7 today at #Seethingwells if you are recording bird sightings on the Surbiton Birds website then use Portsmouth Road for the location. Taking photos, always useful to take an irrefutable location shot as below.
