Below that in image is the wooden clamshell press open and on the press bed is the (covered) 1/4” polkadot plate ready to print strips of blue, aqua, navy and teal bias tape that’s been laid down on plate in vertical stripes so each 1/2” stripe of vintage bias tape will be printed with a row of the green dots.
Printing the 1/4” polkadot plate onto vintage bias tape we bought a bag of at a local estate sale. This was a very fussy project!
