Deep in the corners
Where the shadows lay
Now out of the dark
The whispers will fade
A shimmer and a spark
May light our way
But death leaves a mark
And shadows still play

His shimmered shadow, got lost
In his warm darkness.

Me and My Shadow It shimmers in the light, my shadow. It tempts me further in, into the warm embrace of chaos, the raw, primal reflection of myself. I breathe deep, like I was taught, thank it for being there when I call, and tell it I am not in need of it today. It backs away, bitter, but patient. It knows I will call for it again soon.
