Shiras moose in Oregon snow

Oregon’s Shiras moose are solitary, secretive, and perfectly adapted to our riparian valleys and dense woodlands. These gentle giants are the smallest moose subspecies in North America, but still impressive at up to ~700–1,000 lbs.
