Sometimes I can’t sleep, so I’ll go walking to tire myself out. On this occasion I walked as far as the City just before dawn as the early mists were rising.

Made in Sheffield.

My eldest son Owen lives near Sheffield, so earlier this week I went up for a visit, just as Storm Chandra came to town 🌧️☔️
Despite the endless rain we had a bonny time. Sheffield’s a cool place with lots of interesting places to enjoy & explore 😃

When I'm walking around the City after dark I love finding people lit up by neon signs. Neon evokes that cinematic feeling of bygone movies. So, have a bit of neon for my image of the day 🤩

Blind date.

My photo of the day is from one of my favourite haunts. Conditions have to be right, good light and, most importantly, it needs to be cold. The resulting condensation on the windows transforms the scene into a mysterious impressionistic vignette 😊

Under the Skin.
