God, I need to try to draw more, I've been lazing around too much... well, besides the fact that I got food poisoning before I got to work at all and got bedridden for two days. It only has been months since the first in this year. This WAS supposed to be a Mother's Day art piece if could tell by the subtleties, but to no one's surprise, I got late yet again. To be honest though, that happens on different days depending on the region based on my knowledge. Heck, in our motherland, ours falls on Women's Day being 8th march. Although I've seen others state that it's actually 4th may, or 11th? Ehhhhh, just take it as is. The initial plan though? I was going to go for the "so adorable it's funny" approach by having them cosplay as Dragon Ball characters, specifically Bulma and Vegeta since I recall drawing Smollusk with Trunks' little cat hat on. (I'm sure there's a doodle of Pearl wearing the "Bad Girl" shirt somewhere), but went against it because it didn't feel in line with the day itself, and I had trouble choosing any of Bulma's outfits onto Marina's. Most of these just... didn't fit her, I suppose it's the hair (don't take it as the end all be all, I will be revisiting this in one way). Then I found myself doodling out sketches and this is the closest I've gotten. Also the text on the top right corner. It's probably 8 writing this. He may be quiet in my sick delusional fartasies, but he's got his poetry skills intact even though it may not look like much here. You'll still have to translate it though, tehe. (god I haaate how slow the writing speed in this site has gotten, what the heck even causes this??) Enjoy the view!
