Fell!Hakuko's outfit and guitar were mainly based on the Rockers from Rhythm Heaven Gold. the colors i used (orange and purple) are just hueshifted from her normal outfit (blue and green), which also works since both were inspired by the drummers from Drummer Duel (has an orange and blue team). also i made her a smoker cuz of that one dialogue between her and don-chan about snake smoking from the KFAD mojo and i thought it would be funny irony Fell!Don-chan is my favorite design out of all of these. giving him spikes and a more purple color palette came first (inspired by Fuka-chan from the taiko no tatsujin web anime), but it didnt feel interesting enough, so i thought it would be really cool if he was way bigger and animalistic, like he was fell!hakuko's bloodthirsty rottweiler or something lol
i have complicated feelings about this one because on one hand it makes me sad seeing my favorite characters depressed and on the verge of death but on the other hand making angst with my favorite characters is very fun lol initially when i drew this the idea was that the events that took place in the Horror!Haltmann's Archive somehow affected the Airth where the rhythm masters reside. but after i posted it in the SiivaCord someone suggested that it could take place in a timeline where the MF Like Button failed to beat Unrestrained Hypercam during the KFAD finale. both are pretty interesting ideas i think
this one was the easiest to come up with. i already had a don-chan gijinka lying around and Swap!Hakuko is basically the same as normal hakuko just drawn as a drum lol. but ironically it also took the longest to draw because i was busy & burnt out with college work lol
