I can normally take or leave 'special editions' of Dr. Who but the Warriors of the Deep version on the Season 21 Blu-Ray is brilliant. With fixes for production issues - especially a new myrka - it's suddenly a really good story!

#Silurians would rule the land, the #SeaDevils would rule the oceans and the pterodactyl creatures/others would rule the air. A potential enemy coming from all directions is a frightening prospect.

It just wasn't meant to be, I guess.

It's truly a shame, because the talking pterodactyl creatures potentially being related to the #Silurians and the #SeaDevils would’ve made for an interesting story and, as a concept, would be perfectly logical. It would also make them more of a threat to humanity.

The opening of episode 4 of #DoctorWho and the #Silurians (don't want to spoil the moment for those who haven't seen it) is both one of the funniest resolutions of a cliffhanger ever, but also a quintessential character moment for The Doctor.
