Bart, with his head injuries, is coming along more slowly, but looks like he might get out of hospital any day now. That's great!

#SkyShed POD #SkyShedPOD personnel update from last week's horrible car crash:

"The lead doctor just told Bart's wife that they expect to move him out of ICU in 2 days. Small steps. Makes our day. :)"

The observatory arrived early this afternoon. With unexpected help from a neighbor, we stowed the base wall components in the garage. I moved the dome halves myself to a patio space adjacent to the observatory site where they’ll spend the night.

The #SkyShed AstropotamuPOD is online with its very own dashboard! Temperature, other weather information, power usage, sun and moon altitudes, and even the PODcams are happily collecting and distributing data now!

Spent some time in the #SkyShed Astropotamupod after work today and got everything hooked up. Including my new PTZ #Thingino camera on the ground! Just in time for rain until Monday, but it's looking more likely I might get some April #Astrophotography!

Mac, my #SinkCat #Cat. Normally I post my #Astrophotography pics but you never get to see him. He's often out there with me in the cold, inspecting equipment, prowling the #SkyShed POD, and snuggling my feet to keep me warm and all he asks for in return is an empty bathroom sink to spend the night.
