Released December 21, Yoshi’s Story landed on N64 with storybook visuals, cheerful music, and a softer take on platforming. Short, sweet, and very different from what people expected at the time.

On December 21, Pilotwings took off on the Super Nintendo. Calm, technical, and surprisingly challenging, this was Nintendo showing that flying could be relaxing and educational at the same time. A true SNES classic.
