#snartvent #snarttalk My dad had his dr appointment and his scans came back all clear! He’s been referred to a neurologist just encase, but one checked out his scans already. So whew!

#snartvent #snarttalk Dad got his cat scan yesterday, and he’s been his usual self since Saturday, it seems he’s all good. Can’t say for sure until we get the results of the scan in a few days. Unfortunately my mom is now sick 😩 She’s going to take a Covid test, it seems to be a sore throat mostly.

He’s going to get more bloodwork done this week and go get a scan on Monday to make sure. But he’s 70 now. And I’ve always been one to spiral.

But he went to supper with us and had a good time and he should be fine. I’m just worried. Buh. BUH!!!!!

#snartvent Ended up having a lovely day, we went out to a fancy supper for my sister’s birthday. But this morning my dad had some kind of episode— mom took him to the hospital because she was scared it was a stroke. But he seems to be all good, thankfully. It was short and he seems totally fine now.

[ #snartvent ] The Conservative candidate Pentecostal realtor who wrote a book about “Exposing Satan’s Plan” won in my riding. My dad was telling me she was trying to get into schools a while ago to make sure they weren’t pushing the “gay agenda.” Trying to be normal when I was already doing bad.

[ #snartvent but positive?? ] After a year and a half of what felt like one long excruciating panic attack, I started taking anxiety medication again after Christmas. And there’s still a lot to work on, and I don’t want to jinx this. But I’m starting to feel a bit more like myself again. We’ll see.

I’ve been really struggling with panic and anxiety in 2024, and tomorrow I’ll be starting a new meditation for it. I’ve taken this medication before, but fingers crossed it goes better for me this time. 🤞🤞🤞
