A conglomerate rock, mostly white quartzite matrix with pieces of red jasper and other minerals.

Cool rock of the day: Unpolished pudding stone. Very popular with collectors, it's usually polished and shaped into decorative objects. Mostly from northeastern Michigan but sometimes found in glacial gravels farther south. #rocks #geology #soilslab
